So.. Jordan and I won't have health insurance until January 1st 2011. We both take a couple medications and have been off them for like 6 months... I decided to make a doctor appointment and pay the bill so we can get back on. This is how the conversation went with the doctors office:
Heather: I need to make an appointment with Dr. Backman
Secretary: Ok perfect, and what are we seeing you for?
Heather: Well I need to get back on my medications, I have been off for 6 months
Secretary: Oh, Heather, thats not good!
Heather: I KNOW I AM DYING WITHOUT IT
*PAUSE ON THE OTHER LINE*
Heather: Oh haha I guess I shouldnt say that while on the phone with a doctors office. I am not dying... not even close, I was just being dramatic to get the point across that I NEED it.
Secretary: haha Yeah i gotcha okay... well we can see you on Friday at 10am.
Heather: Perfect (Holding back my laugh) See ya then.... BYE
(Jordan is chuckeling in the background.... I am trying not to burst out)
Secretary: Bye have a good day.
Heather and Jordan: HAHAHA bad idea!
NOTE TO SELF: NEVER TELL A DOCTORS OFFICE OR MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL THAT YOU ARE DYING ..... if your not literally dying....
